Training for THW Local Groups

Members of the German Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) from seven North Rhine-Westphalian local groups attended a Börger service training course last weekend.

The helpers of the water damage and pumps specialist groups use Börger mobile high-performance rotary lobe pumps. The THW pump experts maintain their pumps themselves. Börger pumps are very easy to maintain. All parts exposed to the pumped medium can be checked and replaced easily and effortlessly directly at the installation site after the quick-release cover has been removed.

During the course, the participants learned special tips and tricks from Jens Becker, Börger After Sales staff member. The THW pump operators were able to use the knowledge just acquired during the practical part of the training course.

The training course closed with a company tour during which the participants were able to get an idea how Börger mobile pumps are manufactured. The THW mobile units are supplied from a single source. Börger GmbH produces the chassis, the pump technology and the control technology themselves. This way, individual requirements and wishes from THW can be considered.
