At a waste water treatment facility, lime enriched sludge is required for feeding the chamber filter press. This sludge has the advantage of being an excellent filter in the press and ensuring a high DS content in the sludge which is pressed out. The Börger Rotary Lobe Pump conveys the lime milk to the sludge production of the high pressure pump.
