Wheat starch concentrate

In cattle rearing, the animals are frequently fed with wheat starch concentrate. To obtain a higher protein content, a cattle fodder manufacturer adds surplus wheat starch concentrate to the animal food production from an industrial bakery. This involves wheat waffles and brown pastry sheets which are sandwiched around a milk preparation.
They are then added uncrushed to the wheat starch concentrate. An auger feed conveys the medium to the Boerger Multicrusher. After the initial rough chopping phase, the Boerger Rotary Lobe Pump conveys the medium to be finely chopped in the Boerger Multichopper plus. The speed of both Boerger machines is regulated and synchronized.
In selecting the chopping unit and pump, the animal fodder manufacturer was impressed with excellent results, especially with the ease of maintenance for Boerger products. The Rotary Lobe Pump, Multicrusher and Multichopper are all designed so that maintenance can be carried out by in-house personnel on site at the animal fodder manufacturer's by simply undoing a four bolts.
