Cosmetic products

An international manufacturer of aromas, oils, aromatic substances and cosmetic products required a chopper for shredding vegetable solids. The customer obtains fragrances and flavorings, raw materials, active ingredients and functional ingredients from various natural products such as leeks, onions, vanilla pods etc.

As part of this process, a chopper is needed to break down the previously chopped raw materials which are enriched with water. This chopper needs to be stainless steel and preferably have no space in which the solids could get stuck. The customer opted for a Boerger Multichopper pure. To ensure maximum safety during maintenance carried out on the Multichopper, a proximity switch was installed which prevented it from starting up if the quick-release cover was open.
