Starch suspension

A manufacturer of corrugated cardboard and fine and transparent paper was looking for a reliable and robust pump to convey starch suspension. The pump used at the paper manufacturer's was having serious problems with the seals from the starch suspension. Besides more security for the seals, the new pump needed to be suitable for pressure differences of up to  6 bar. The customer opted for a Boerger Select Rotary Lobe Pump for this purpose. The individually pressurized mechanical seals and extra quench chamber offer the customer additional operating safety.
