THE ROTARY LOBE PUMP
SOPHISTICATED QUALITY
The BLUEline rotary lobe pumps were developed especially for use in
agriculture where they have become indispensable. The pumps are
powerful, robust and durable. Thanks to their low-on-space design,
the pumps can also be used in mobile applications, e.g. on a three-
point hitch frame, static mounted or mobile vat filling station.
OPERATING PRINCIPLE
UNRIVALED LOW MAINTENANCE
Börger rotary lobe pumps are self-priming positive displacement
pumps. The synchronized rotation of the two rotors creates a
vacuum on the priming side of the pump. This vacuum draws the
liquid into the pump chamber. With further rotation, the rotors
convey the liquid into the pressure area. If the direction of rotation
is changed, the flow is reversed.
Our pumps are exceptionally easy to maintain.
You can carry out the maintenance work yourself.
Simply remove the quick-release cover to get
access to all wear parts.
At Börger, we call this unique principle MIP
®
(Maintenance in Place), since you can carry out all
maintenance work in a matter of minutes at the
installation site of the pump without the need to
remove the piping or the drive system.
UNIQUE BLOCK DESIGN
Every Börger pump is equipped with a non-segmented
pump casing. This block design makes the pumps
more robust and durable and ensures a virtually un-
limited service life.
UNIQUE CASING PROTECTION
Upon request, the inside of the pump casing is lined
with a casing protection which protects the pump
casing from wear caused by solids (e.g. sand or
stones). In case of wear, the casing protection can
easily be replaced.
A SELECTION OF BÖRGER ROTORS
We take on any challenge. To this end, a range of different
rotors were developed. The patented Unique rotors are indeed
unique worldwide. Just the removable lobe tips have to be
replaced in case of wear. This saves a lot of money and makes
maintenance incredibly easy. Our Premium profile rotor was
especially developed for biogas applications for conveying
fibrous media. Thanks to its new screw-profile design it runs
almost pulsation free and ensures a long service life.
OIL-FILLED INTERMEDIATE CHAMBER
The oil in the large-volume intermediate chamber cools
and lubricates the seals. The intermediate chamber pro-
tects the gear unit from pumped medium leaking in if the
mechanical seal is defective. Escaping fluid flows into the
intermediate chamber without pressure and can leak out
through the overflow opening. Highest degree of operational
safety for your plant.
THE IDEAL PUMP SIZE FOR YOUR PLANT
The BLUEline rotary lobe pump is available in 21 sizes. The most suitable
pump size for your application is chosen from this large selection.
DIFFERENT DRIVE OPTIONS

SUBMERSIBLE CENTRIFUGAL PUMP SUBMERSIBLE CHOPPER MIX PUMP
FOR SIMPLE TRANSFER OPERATIONS
EASY SOLUTION
You can use submersible centrifugal pumps for con-
veying aqueous media with low solids content. The sub-
mersible pump is lowered into the liquid and uses the
feed from below. The pump is driven by a submersible
motor.
The cutting edges at the pump wheel macerate the
fibers contained in the liquid during the pumping pro-
cess. By moving a valve, the submersible chopper mix
pump can be used for transfer operations or for circu-
lation by means of an agitating nozzle.
