Portable hazardous material transfer pump - according to DIN 14427

COMPACT AND POWERFUL
HAZARDOUS MATERIAL TRANSFER PUMP
Börger has developed a portable hazardous material transfer
pump (HMTP), especially for use in areas that are difficult to
access. The solids-resistant pump is manufactured according
to DIN 14427.
USE IN POTENTIALLY EXPLOSIVE ATMOSPHERES
The ATEX-compliant rotary lobe pump is equipped with an explosion-proof electric
motor and can e.g. be operated by the power generator of an emergency vehicle. The
pump is self-priming. Additional priming aids are not necessary.
The Börger rotary lobe pump also pumps in slurp operation and is suitable for cleaning
up residual liquids or removing oil or similar substances from water surfaces.
The portable pump is built in such a compact way that the pump including the drive can
be transported in the storage compartment of an emergency vehicle, on a truck bed or
in a car trunk. You can choose between two sizes. With FKM rotors installed, the
Börger HMTP conveys up to 230 l/min or 350 l/min, respectively.

CUSTOMIZED
Each Börger pump is configured and built for the specific application using a modular
principle. As a result, the pump can convey liquids of virtually any type and reaches a
very long service life.

RELIABILITY DOWN TO THE LAST DETAIL
Space-saving storing in a storage
compartment of the emergency vehicle
Portable thanks to its compact lightweight
design use in areas which are difficult to
VERSATILE USE
The HMTP has been manufactured for the transfer of aggressive
media, mineral oil products and flammable liquids of explosion
group II A and II B and temperature classes T1 to T3 in potentially
explosive atmospheres of zone 1.
The pump has a wide range of applications:
Oil spill response pump
Disaster relief pump
Hazardous material pump
Cleaning up and transferring
Conveying of aggressive or highly viscous liquids or
media containing solids
Conveying of flammable liquids
and so on
