1975-1985

History

1975 The Börger company was founded in Borken-Weseke by the 25 year old Alois Börger.
1976 Buying and selling technical equipment, general repair service. Setup of metal construction works as a single competitor using temporary workers.
1977 Relocation to the first newly-built production hall at the Borken-Weseke site (still remains the headquarters of our parent company).
1978 Restructuring of the pumps and pipeline engineering department. The first three full-time employees are hired.
1980 Focus on pumps, tanks and pipeline construction begins.
1982 The 10th full-time employee is hired. Börger starts training. Three apprentices are employed in the company.
1983 Blasting and mixing equipment is added to the product line. The combination of mixing equipment and pumps becomes a sales hit.
