An international company develops and manufactures a wide range of primary products and ready-made products for the food and animal food industry, paper industry, bio-industry and pharmaceuticals industry. The focus of this family-run business is processing starch products.  

The French manufacturer uses a Boerger Rotary Lobe Pump for pumping starch. Starch is highly viscous and puts heavy demands on the material and seals of the pump. The Boerger Rotary Lobe Pump is made of stainless steel and has a pressurized intermediate chamber. This makes the Boerger Rotary Lobe Pump permanently technically sealed. The gap of the lobe tip has also been increased by 1.0 mm. The customer is highly satisfied with the stable performance and the wear-resistant parts of the Boerger pump. In the event of wear on the rotor, only the detachable stainless steel tips need to be replaced.
