Mobile Pumps

Mobile units

Börger mobile units are used for a wide variety of pumping tasks – mounted on a car or truck trailer, as well as on an L-frame or as a hook lift unit.

Whether in an oil refinery, a chemical plant, for sewer rehabilitation or in flooded areas – there is one thing all mobile units have in common: they are designed and manufactured individually for their field of application.

Unlimited possibilities

Whether mounted on a car or truck trailer or on a skip container – from the trailer and the pump technology to the control technology – all Börger mobile pumps are planned, designed and produced by a single source.

We offer ready-to-connect solutions. The experience from building several thousands of mobile units is reflected in each mobile pump.

Nevertheless, every mobile pump is different.

Our pump units are supplied from a single source. Börger designs and produces the base frame, the pump technology and the control technology themselves − in line with your requirements with perfectly matched components.

Options

Manufactured according to your needs

Each mobile pump is built in line with our customers' wishes and requirements. Please find a small selection of options here.

Options

Vehicle body

Mobile units can for example be installed on

  • a car trailer
  • a truck trailer
  • a steel construction with forklift pockets and/or crane lugs
  • an L-frame
  • or a roll-off container

Options

Roof construction

Mobile units are often equipped with a tarp / roof bow construction. With foldable versions, the tarp can be used as weather protection.

If protection against vandalism is required, the pump can be protected by a foldable protective grid.

Options

Drive

Mobile units are usually driven by a combustion engine in order for them to be used as standalone units. However, other drive types are also available.

Many local authorities prefer a combination of a generator and electric motor for their flood pumps. This means that the generator can also be used independently of the pump.

Options

Sound enclosure

The combustion engine or the entire unit can be equipped with a sound enclosure for use in residential areas.

    Options

    Control technology

The pump can be equipped with control technology "Made by Börger" upon request. The control unit is designed according to the customer’s requirements. For example:

    • with automatic operation with fill level sensor
    • control technology with remote monitoring function
    • visualized pump control via smartphone, tablet or PC
    • and so on

    Options

    ATEX-compliant

All Börger mobile units can be constructed in line with ATEX requirements.

In addition to the pump itself, we also provide an ATEX-compliant control cabinet for your mobile pump.

      Options

      With macerating unit

When conveying solids-laden media, it may be advisable to use a macerator.

        Options

        Storage compartments

Depending on the customer's requirements, the mobile unit is fitted with storage compartments for hoses or other equipment.

A large variety of options is possible here as well.

        Benefits

        Convincing arguments

The customized construction and excellent pumping properties of the Börger mobile pumps make them an ideal solution for virtually any flexible pumping task.

        A selection

        • Suitable for standalone use: Driven by a combustion engine or a combination of generator and electric motor, the mobile pumps are suitable for standalone use in virtually any situation.
        • Powerful: Flow rates up to 6,400 gpm (1,440 m³/h / 24,000 l/min).
        • Variable flow rate: The flow rate can be adapted to the specific pumping task via the pump speed. The high efficiency is maintained at every speed.
        • High-quality control technology: The control technology is individually adapted to the fields of application and customers' requirements.
        • Constant flow rate even in high-pressure situations: Even in high-pressure situations (e.g. due to long pumping distances), the flow rate of Börger rotary lobe pumps remains constant.
        • Resistant to solids, self-priming and capable of running dry for a short time: These capabilities make the pumps suitable for universal use.
        • Ready for use right away: The Pumps are ready for use straight away − connect the hoses and start the drive.
        • Customized design: Each mobile unit is configured and built individually.
