  • 1975

    In the barn on the parents' farm Alois Börger founds a trading company with service workshop for agricultural machinery.

  • 1977

    Relocation into the first workshop at the present location of Börger GmbH. Expansion of the product range by pumps and agitator technology.

  • 1985

    For the first time, about 500 pumps, mixers and units are sold in one year. In addition to sales, the workforce is increased to 25 Börger employees.

  • 1988

    Market launch of the first low-maintenance and robust Börger rotary lobe pump (FL series).    

  • 1991

    Development of a mechanical seal tailored especially to Börger rotary lobe pumps – to date, a novelty on the market.

  • 1992

    Foundation of Börger BeNeLux in the Netherlands.

    Reorganization of the sales department into the sectors industry and agriculture.

  • 1993

    Development of the smaller AL and PL series for the industrial target market.

  • 1994

    Expansion of the production area by building an additional production hall including pump test stand. Total production area: 1,800 m².

  • 1996

    Development of stainless steel tanks in segmental design.  

  • 1997

    Foundation of Börger Asia in Singapore as a sales hub for the Asia-Pacific region.

  • 1998

    Market launch of the screw-profile rotors for practically pulsation-free pumping.

    Foundation of Börger France in Alsace.

  • 1999

    Foundation of Börger USA in Minneapolis.

  • 2001

    Construction of an office building with a floor space of 600 m².

    Foundation of Börger Poland in Gliwice.

    Development of macerating technologies

    Foundation of Börger UK in the area of Birmingham.

  • 2005

    Market launch of Börger Powerfeed SSR liquid feeding technology.

  • 2006

    Appointment of Anne Börger-Olthoff to Management.

    Warehouse and production hall with a floor space of 2,000 m² for pump assembly.

  • 2007

    Market launch of Börger Bioselect separation technology.

  • 2009

    Construction of a 4,000 m² production hall and warehouse with a state-of-the-art pump test stand.

  • 2011

    Demolition of the Börger private house and reconstruction of a 1,000 m² administration and training building at the same site.

  • 2013

    Construction of a new workshop for the production of stainless steel tanks.

  • 2015

    Market launch of the ONIXline rotary lobe pump.

    Completion of three new production halls.

    Foundation of Börger China in Shanghai.

     

     

  • 2016

    Construction of the largest rotary lobe pump in the world. The BLUEline XL 5350 conveys up to 1,500 m³/h.

  • 2017

    Space for expansion by acquisition of the adjacent site. The total size of the company premises now is 42,000 m².

  • 2021

    Market launch of the new BLUEline Nova rotary lobe pump.
